These days most prefer not to mix their religion and politics in polite conversation. To begin taking sides in the great political debate is an exercise in self-torture. Spiritual-Self is likewise going to take a non-political position. By non political we don't mean apathetic and cold hearted toward suffering. If none of us were to care then what would change for the better. The idea is that we care a great deal and do all we can, and at the same time realize their are greater forces at work. Realize Jesus may not come back for a million years and realize he may come back tomorrow. Accepting the possibilities will give you an appreciation of the flexibility we need to political solutions
which may come from either ends of the spectrum of liberal to conservative.

Jesus Liberal or Conservative? Three big differences in political opinion

1. Control

Democrats believe tent to think people suffer because of unjust society, or oppression.

Republicans believe it is because of something inside the person. Perhaps they believe the person was lazy or something.

2. Rights of the Individual or the Collective

Times change from individual to collective modes of thinking and interacting.

3. Levels of Development

When Jesus arrived he set into action a chain of events that would activate higher levels of development in individuals.

Spiritual Self Awareness teaches you that God can speak to you in many ways, Jesus is both liberal or conservative. In the postmodern age we are aware of the dangers of seeing scientific truth as the only form of truth. The church has been victim to this as has every other field of understanding. Each building block of existence, of any truth has more than one aspect of truth to it. Your brain (UR- upper right) has thoughts that are immeasurable scientifically but are equally real. Your mind (Self consciousness UL) needs accurate interpretation. Your minds thoughts are created and have an constructed element which happens in culture (LR). If the modern discovery has been to bring liberty through the separation of Science, Art and Morals, then the the postmodern discovery has been that thoughts come out of a cultural context. The issue of the separation has collapsed the left hand paths to the imperial domination of Science.
