Learn to Discern

To learn to discern is to distinguish the path that leads to heaven from other paths. Before Adam and eve discernment was not necessary. There was Adam in the garden by himself and there was not a great deal of discernment needed. Life was a little dull for him there and I guess thats why God created Eve. With eve Adam's life became a little more complicated and there were a few more decisions to make. You know which tree to eat from and that type of thing. Life has continued to get more complicated for Adam since he first learned to deal with opposing dualisms. Learning how to discern has become an increasingly important aspect of his life. Since eating the forbidden fruit that separated his consciousness into good and evil he has to deal keeping balance while walking the tight rope.

The tight rope of reaching heaven and reaching out to a fallen world. Discernment is the skill that helps us know when to let go and when to hold on to our dreams. Discernment is a gift to keep and deliver us from the evil one that imitates God. The ability to spot the old devil that stalks Gods children. It's a gift both given and practiced over the centuries to uncover the many guises of the evil one and all it's morphs from all the ages. The ability to make a clear distinction for what is for God and recognising the subtle difference that makes an activity, or spirit against God in all it's morphs.

Discernment is recognising that all things come from spirit and have a spirit attached to them. For sure God made all things Good but some have taken a bit of a fall. If you grab hold of those things you can go right down there with them. Right down into the pit of hell. Grab hold then of those things that will bring you closer to, and please God. The help of a discerning body can save you in this regard.

Note: This gift has nothing to do with discerning what political alliance someone takes and calling it an evil spirit.
