Religions and Spiritualities

Throughout history different denominations of all religions and spiritualities have tended to bunker down in their own camp. In the Christian tradition their has been divisions between theologies which emphasis a different aspect of God. What happens in these cases is usually each party finds an aspect of truth which is only part of the full picture of God or Spirit. There is only One Spirit or God but there are many ways that the Spirit can manifest thanks to the compassion of Christ. These differing perspectives are easily identified into four distinct camps which present a means to know God or Spirit.

Only when you have these four aspects of Spirit coming together in accordance with the big book do you get the full picture. Then you can sit in your camp all you like but until you make the effort to see the other point of view are you going to grow spiritually. As you make your way through the domains of the Spiritual-Self website you will find some common traits or foundation values we at Spiritual-Self hold integral to the Spiritual-Self journey. These values are the glue in the Christian traditions that maintain our unity in diversity in our journey of faith. 

Acceptance

The journey while in Christian voice has practical applications to people of all faiths. Through compassion Jesus has made us all acceptable to the Spirit of God once again. When we accept that the Spirit manifests in many ways and can recognise the truth of the One Spirit however it manifests.

Accessibility

God gave us access to him personally through the compassion of Jesus Christ. The Journey is easy to understand and follow without reducing God to simplistic culturally centered dogmas. Accessibility to God is available to us here in his creation and in heaven.

Accuracy

The Journey maintains intellectual quality and adheres to the absolute integrity of Gods biblical truth. We will try to check everything written on this site against the Word and respect the readers integrity in discerning Gods truth for themselves.

Accountability

The Journey is only meant as a guide to finding real personal connections and relationship with living and breathing spiritual communities.
