The Spiritual Gift of ProphesyThe
spiritual gift of
prophesy is about hearing a clear message and having the ability to
pass on that message. Hearing the voice of the creator God, discerning
the small voice, from other voices and distractions is the first
requirement of prophesy. Tunning into that which is eternal and ever
changing and then the clear delivery of this message is the role of the
prophet. When tunning into, broadcasting and relaying the message of
God become simultaneous, THEN you can become an instrument of prophesy.
If our radio frequency meters are working correctly we will receive and interpret this message as truthfulness. If we are not tuned in, in other words, if our focus is not on the small voice of God but instead we allow ourselves to get influenced by other frequencys, then what we broadcast will look and sound strange and weird. We won't have an eternal perspective, and our message, however trendy or in vogue, will eventually fizzle out into white space. To take the radio metaphor a little further to illustrate this process looks like this: We tune into the frequency of "the still small voice." First is discerning the word as it appears to you through the holy spirit, through the community of spirit in the body of Christ and in the word written as eternal truths. Then Interpreting the message through the spirit allows us to relay the message to it's intended audience. The message that is broadcast is truth. Then the self, the "I" in you, becomes the interpreter of the written text of God and puts it in the context of the time and place we live in. Through the spirit your body becomes a vessel for communicating Gods message. Finally the message is not only the word as it appears in the bible, but the word as the holy spirit living and working in you, and the community of faith. The word becomes a living entity, picked up, broadcast and and received in a frequency that all parties are have access too. The correct frequency is ONE: the frequency of the spirit. Frequency ONE has the power of creation in it and has the full depth of the creators knowing in it. All things, even spirit itself are found in the frequency ONE. Tuning into the small spirit is not to hard then because we already know the frequency. It is ONE. Right? God created all things, and all things are made in up of this spirit. We should not say God is only in the sky of far off and irrelevant, or in heaven, or in nature or in us. God is in all of these things, know of them, and is one with all that there is. In the bigger picture even deception and evil have been been won over and redeemed through what has been won for us in the frequency of ONE. Christ on the cross came and gave us access to this frequency. When we tune into this frequency we tune into this victory now and for all eternity. That frequency is ONE, it's the frequency of the spirit and it's the gateway of communion with the Creator. Then you can think of frequency ONE as the broadcasting frequency of every aspect of the universe and beyond. In the physical world this frequency broadcasts into all things. This is not to hard to imagine when we consider that science has found an endless perspective to all matter. There is not any end to the universe in size and scientists keep going further down in the smaller scale of things past the cell, and the molecule ant the quark. Now they consider the possibility that there is not any end. The same is true about truth. Gods truth. There is not any end to goodness in Gods truth. Corrupted
Frequencies:
They are shallow frequencies and try to please everyone and everything apart from the ONE frequency.As there is only one correct frequency then that makes room for many corrupted frequencies. And there are many of these frequencies that mimic the ONE frequency. The difference with these is that hay are not eternal and don't have the depth that a single frequency ONE can offer. By shallow I mean they are all surface but make up for this with excessive volume. NOISE NOISE NOISE business and frenetic haste try to make up for depth of substance. And by substance I mean spirit because as I said before everything in the universe is made of spirit. God created the universe out of what? It is a manifestation of frequency ONE of course silly. Everything has the eternal depth and destiny of that ONE frequency but unfortunately rival frequencies follow the way of deception. Tunning too far to the right:
making God an Object:
For accepting the ONE frequency is to accept all that is good in its eternity while accepting another frequency is to accept a finite limited imitation of frequency ONE. Most often the wool of this deception is pulled over our eyes early, because we are generally too easily influenced by the rational thinking of our times. To accept as truth the finite nature of our physical universe and tune into this frequency we abide in this deception. The next step is the reductionist thinking is to accept the idea that this objective measurable reality is the only truth that is real or exist when the real truth that GOD manifests both in the objective reality and in the subjective reality. to the right: making God Nature:
The reaction in Modern times to empirical, objective science has been to react by running back to the romantic notion that God is Nature and exists only in nature. You know it's the " Grab your pitchforks everybody lets drive those spooky spirits out of there attitude". Like those unsuspecting evangelists that claimed to have cast out demons in the name of Jesus, you may arrive in heaven to the greeting, "Who are you". The ONE frequency and the one
frequency:
Or you may think this whole ONE frequency approach sounds a little like a slap in the face to diversity, but that's far from the truth. Notice how other perspectives don't give us the full picture of how GOD is manifest in many dimensions. They are only concerned with God as "it" God or as out there somewhere. These are imitation "one" frequencies they adhere to a single monotone message that says only my perspective is true. Or there simple single message is there is not any one truth. But this one perspective without the diversity that can come from the ONE frequency. The one frequencies blare out their messages make up for their incompleteness. one Frequencies:
These one frequencies may transmit the message that Creation is only what I can touch see and observe and God is outside, out there, out side of it, only living in Heaven. Or God and creation is only what my interpretation of my walk with god is. Or what truth has been spoken into my spiritual community as a means to bring about social justice. All these aspects are important manifestations of the ONE spirit but they are not properly tuned in. Or they are simultaneously transmitting the message that their message is the full message of what God is saying. Consider in the Bible where Saul visits the fortune teller who tells him he will die in battle. The Bible calls this practice a practice of a false prophet. The vision of the false prophet can have a vision into finite materialistic perspective. However that perspective can only see as far as death. Notice how the false prophet will often have a short sighted materialistic perspective and will often ask money in return for their services. This is because the false prophet is a believer in a finite reality. False prophets have the vision to interpret but they get in wrong because their perspective is limited. When you give your money, or your faith over to their visions they become your master, you tune into their frequency. You then have a limited future in a frequency destined to drop off the airwaves. Remember the cross is your subscription to frequency ONE. Tunning to far to the left:
This happens when we move right past channel ONE when we tune into a purely subjective means of knowing God. This purely Subjective frequency looks like a WOW freak show of weirdos and neglects any real roots or grounding in eternal. It can crash and burn without the substance of the black and white substance of the word. Even the false prophet has to wield to the frequency of ONE, because ONE is all prevailing. Any of these other frequencies mentioned apart from ONE won't do. Only ONE frequency will do. For frequency ONE has power over life and death. This is the fact all other frequencies will eventually have to face up to. In reality, through Christ we are able to tune into frequency ONE anytime. This means we can play our part in the creation project by receiving interpreting and broadcasting the Gods intended messages. We can literally move mountains in the physical world because of our faith, but first we will need to interpret what that message is. Interpreting the purposes of God is the substance of much of this site and it means you will need to know how God is moving in you and in your spiritual community. Knowing God IS about knowing the word of God and the scriptures AND it is also about interpreting that word AND about interpreting ALL other aspects of how God is at work in your life. Knowing and interpreting God is Also about recognizing how GOD works in the community of the faithful. Interpreting happens for instance when the community asks the golden question "how do we do onto others as we would like them to do to us". This is the ethical side of the spiritual life that requires frequency ONE interpreted. It is not any longer appropriate to walk up to society and point to some scriptures. Christian Ethics requires some action to make it's fruit manifest in the wold. It requires that we put into context the word of God, then the physical manifestation of God, put it into a context and action, can do it's work. THIS IS ESSENTIAL TO THE GIFT OF PROPHESY. Then
if you are receiving the message being broadcast by frequency ONE. You
are interpreting it in the spirit for our times then it is time to
broadcast. Again this is a broadcast in the "still small voice".
Usually this prophetic encounter will happen in a small group
environment or in a one on one encounter. Very few of us are called to
broadcast to on Sunday mornings from a pulpit. In fact the still small
voice will most likely not even sound like preaching. Notice how the
Message of Jesus was mostly broadcast by telling parables. The use of
subtle images that are left for the person to ponder was his frequency.
These were often messages that raised the consciousness in the
individual and the group to the truth. They provided the receiver with
an opportunity to follow in his ways and an example of how to do it.
The message was not a message of condemnation, but of the grace that
has been provided.

Be eager to have the gifts that come from the Holy Spirit, especially the gift of prophecy. But when you prophesy, you will be understood, and others will be helped. They will be encouraged and made to feel better. By speaking languages that others don't know, you help only yourself. But but by prophesying you help everyone in the church. I am glad for you to speak unknown languages, although I had rather for you to prophesy. In fact, prophesying does much more good than speaking unknown languages, unless someone can help the church by explaining what you mean. But suppose all of you are prophesying when those unbelievers and outsiders come in. They will realize that they are sinners, and they will want to change their ways because of what you are saying. Two or three persons may prophesy, and everyone else must listen carefully. My friends, be eager to prophesy and don't stop anyone from speaking languages that others don't know. They have the power to lock up the sky and to keep rain from falling while they are prophesying. And whenever they want to, they can turn water to blood and cause all kinds of terrible troubles on earth. Prophesy in the Old Testiment (expanded) And a young man ran to Moses and said, Eldad and Medad are prophesying [sounding forth the praises of God and declaring His will] in the camp. very real way which unites her in purpose with God's will to bring

has received the gift of life, then freely they should give. Right?
Remember God gave his only Son, sent him from his side in heaven. And
in this selfless act redeemed us all. The Hero here has the opportunity
to leave his comfort zone for others with the new found aid of
supernatural powers.
