Spiritual Heaven

The vision for this journey of seeing God purpose of blessing is a bit like having spiritual heaven on Earth right now. In her autobiographic work HEAVEN IS SO REAL, author Choo Thomas wrote a novel claiming to have been visited by Jesus, who took her to Heaven. Regardless of whether this actually happened it provokes some perceptions into the nature of our relationship with God in the One and the Many. Thomas clams Jesus took her up to heaven and showed her many things on different occasions. The book reads like a catalog of heavenly pleasures.


There's a scene for the fashion lovers where Choo tries on her heavenly robe with loving assistance but the incident that sparked my imagination was where Jesus took her fishing. There she is living it up with Jesus, sandwiched between aqua waters and majestic towering cliffs when Jesus goes in and brings back a few fish to prepare for lunch. Jesus in preparing the fish leans over and tells Thomas, "you should enjoy the variety of food you have on Earth now while you can". In this startling event (whether real or not) we have the essentials of what it means to enjoy relationship with God in the ONE and the MANY.

The ONE Spirit of God

Vision teaches us we have communion with God in heaven, higher and distinct from our selves providing a Spiritual Heaven that is there for us to ascend to RIGHT NOW. This is the aspect of journey where we peel of the onion layers of our self, and our earthly identification until we are totally immersed in total identification with the Kingdom of God. We hand ourselves over entirely, to die to self, and rise again, pure in the victory of overcoming that we will only fully experience when we reach heaven. What Thomas says is that we are to begin making this assent today because heaven is ready for us NOW.

The Diversity of the ONE Spirit of God 

What it also teaches us is that we are not to deny spirit in the many different aspects of the ONE that have manifested throughout creations history. Through compassion God has paid a ransom to redeem his Creation. This compassion has been extended to everything you've done, thought, touched or held, but you can only choose to enter into this victory by accepting the compassion offered by God in a Savior. By savior we mean we are not any longer bound by the shackles or this rational, materialistic, world-view that prevents us from seeing the ONE in the many.
